A shiny, greasy or sweaty forehead can be quite unattractive; however, you can keep makeup from smudging or looking like a cakey mess and blot shine away with a few simple beauty tips. Using a combination of oil-absorbing tissues, light makeup or a natural beauty remedy, you can eliminate shine and leave skin smooth and beautiful. Cut a lemon in half. Rub the lemon over the area of your face that is shiny for a natural way to tone your face. Alternatively, use a cotton ball and pour a dab of witch hazel or store-bought facial toner on the cotton; blot the cotton ball over the area to eliminate shine.
Use an oil-absorbing tissue to lightly blot the area of your face that is shiny. You can purchase these at your local pharmacy or beauty supply store. These are great to keep in your purse to use as an alternative to lemon or toner.
Finish by applying a thin layer of translucent face powder on the toned area using a makeup brush. This will block pores from producing oil or greasy sheen and leave your skin looking smooth; reapply as needed throughout the day.
