Hi, I'm Mindy Black with Inner Beauty Skincare, and today we are going to discuss ways to cure excessive oily skin. You know they always say that having oily skin is actually to your advantage and that you show signs of aging later in life, great news right? Do you agree? Do you embrace the oil or do you fight the oil? I can totally understand that there's frustration that's associated with that because I have oily skin too. Oily skin is so much thicker, actually causing a lot of blemishes, clogged pores and can trap bacteria so one of the things that I like to do for a homemade treatment is a tomato mask. There are so many really easy and fun concoctions that you can make right in your own home and in your kitchen to help cure excessive oily skin. My all time favorite is tomatoes. Just a fresh raw tomato which we have here, we've already crushed it up and we're going to just apply it directly to the skin. It's going to be really cold and soothing but the lycopene helps to build the collagen and bonus fight the free radicals. I absolutely love this treatment. You can let it sit for about 15 to 20 minutes and then you just rinse with cool water and you're going to want to do this mask about two to three times a week or as often as you feel necessary. This is going to help to balance out that oil and leave you glowing. For an ingredient option look for words like salicylic and glycolics. Those are going to be really beneficial at toning, tightening and eliminating the dead skin cells. With oily skin you can actually get a little bit more aggressive with your skincare products and your treatments. These are common ingredients found in most of the products that you're already using like your makeup and your moisturizers. Always remember, moisturize, SPF for day and focus maybe on balancing out the oil rather than eliminating it completely. I personally like a little bit of shine on my skin. I'm Mindy Black. Thanks for watching.
